Beginners try

Ok, here I am. I'm just beginning to see what Web 2.0 is about. It seems to me to be about breaking down the barriers of information possession. Taking a little of the elitism out of the educated and opening stores of information and opinion to anyone who can access a computer. Of course this is a bit elitist also, but I suppose with the creation of cyber-cafes and such, not so much anymore. The only thing I worry about it mis-information. Kinda like the adage of "if you see it in print it must be true...." How can we trust the information we find on the web. User beware I guess...
